Life-Like Exterior Plants Withstand Most Extreme Natural Elements

The Plantwerks team was contacted by The Cliff House, an award winning luxury hotel resort in Cape Neddick, ME, to assist in creating a solution for a unique problem that the resort was experiencing.  The Cliff House Resort is situated atop the rocky cliffs of the Southern Maine Coastline, and many of their hotel rooms offer sweeping vista views of the beautiful shoreline and ocean.  However, one wing of the hotel has balcony rooms that are situated above the rooftop of the resorts spa and exercise facilities.  While the ocean views from these balconies are still quite majestic, some patrons had complained about the drab concrete rooftop glaring up at them from below.  Of course beautiful plants and lush vegetation are a great way to soften hard concrete spaces, and bring them to life… But how would they be able to regularly maintain the plants on this difficult to access rooftop??

The Plantwerks team was able to develop a beautiful, versatile, and maintenance free solution using custom built exterior containers and cutting edge Polyblend Life-Like exterior plants.  This high end faux plant material is not only very realistic and blends into the surrounding natural environment, but it is extremely durable and specially designed to withstand the most extreme natural elements of Ultra Violet Light, Rain, Wind, and Snow.  Through a collaborative process of creativity, teamwork, and ingenuity, Plantwerks was able to achieve the needs of The Cliff House and create a long lasting impact at one of the most premier luxury resort destinations in New England.
