These three Earth bowls filled with succulents are here where an escalator used to be. The escalator was covered over by this wooden counter space. The large expanse of wood needed something to break up the field of view. Earth bowls were a great solution. A stairwell still exists behind the display and the hallway where this picture was taken leads to the Jetport administration area. Many people will now view these lovely and interestingly textured plantings while making their way through. Overhead skylights support the plantings, they also cast natural light which warms the purple and ruby foliage of the ‘Trios Star’ Stromanthe plants.
